01

When can I download Cadence?

Cadence is coming soon on Android. The official store link will appear on this site when the public listing is ready.

02

Where is my data stored?

The current version stores subscriptions, playback positions, playlists, bookmarks, history, and preferences on your device. Account-based sync is not currently available.

03

Can I move my podcast library?

Yes. Cadence supports OPML import and export, Pocket Casts imports, and Cadence backup and restore. Downloaded media is not included in backups.

04

How does automatic skipping handle episode audio?

The optional feature reuses the episode bytes already being streamed and performs speech recognition on your phone. It sends short timed transcript text plus public show, episode, publisher/author, and duration context to Cadence for classification. Audio is never uploaded, playback never pauses to catch up, and no full prepared copy is required.

05

How do I request an ad-skip correction or publisher opt-out?

Listeners can submit anonymous timing corrections only after separately opting in. Publishers can email a feed URL and the words "ad-skip opt-out" for a takedown request. Do not send feed credentials or private media.

06

What should I include in a support email?

Include the Cadence version, your Android version, what you expected, and what happened. Do not send backup files, feed credentials, or other private data.

Diagnostics

Crash reports and sanitized app diagnostics can be disabled from Cadence Settings. See the privacy policy for details about what diagnostics include.
